Chapter Five and a Half

I just don’t feel right

This will be my third try at a blog post. I’ve been trying and failing to write over the last few weeks: I had this grand idea that I’d start writing daily throughout this global pandemic. I was going to call the chapter ‘A blog a day to keep the blues at bay‘. But every time I put pen to paper (or started typing, but … Continue reading I just don’t feel right

Hi, I'm Bron. I'm so pleased you're here! Happy reading and don't forget to connect with me using the social media links above. I'd love to hear from you!

More proof May is the best month ever, especially in the UK. May is my favourite month of the year. Not just because it's my birth month, but it helps πŸ’šβ˜€οΈ I did it. βœˆοΈπŸŒŽβ˜€οΈπŸ“ΈπŸ’› I hadn’t imagined my previous blog post would be the last before I left for LA; I imagined I’d blog again before I left and I’d be updating on the trip whilst I was away too. Yesterday I took photos in the MOST instagrammable bathroom in the whole world πŸ˜πŸ’› This weekend I got to spend time by the sea for the first time in ages and it was BEAUTIFUL. We've got this πŸ’› Grateful that the sun is still high enough in the sky for an after work stroll. Yesterday my bestie was in Welwyn Garden City for the day. We strolled around the shops and picked up a super scrummy lunch in Simmons Bakers. I fell head over heels for my chocolate covered cappuccino. It may be grey and windy and gloomy in England right now, but if you look close enough, there are pretty little signs everywhere that Spring is on the way πŸ’›πŸŒΈ I was at the National Botanic Garden of Wales for work today and I 100% recommend a visit. Good Morning from snowy England β„οΈπŸ’› Happy Sunday lovely people! This weekend I found a recipe for this gloriously easy-to-make smoothie and one of my best friends showed me how layering nachos ensures you get dip on every chip. I’m curled up with a cuppa, a box of chocs and Willow, who’s sat on my lap between me and my laptop making it incredibly hard for me to type. I’ve got my favourite Disney film on in the background – top marks for anyone who can guess which one in the comments. Isn't she lovely? πŸ’›πŸΎ When you successfully convince them to look at the camera πŸ₯ΉπŸ’›πŸΎ Just finished washing up and my fingers are all wrinkly, as if I’ve just got out of a lovely long bath. My hair’s a total mess and I’m wearing an old jumper with pyjama bottoms, but I feel like writing for the first time in forever, so I’m smiling hugely (Hey there 2023 followers and thanks for sticking with me!). I love our little tree. It's not perfect, but it's ours and it's got us feeling oh so festive and cosy πŸ₯°πŸŽ„ That's another Sunday come and gone without an update from me. Writer's block is here to stay for now, but this weekend we put the Christmas decorations up, so here's a cute cat photo for the time being πŸ˜πŸŽ„
